Founding Story
Megan’s family started in the restaurant industry in the 1970s. While in this industry the family would allow customers to sample products before they bought them. Through this process, many people approached the Megan’s about wanting to resell their products. This sparked the creation of Megan’s Pantry.

Matthew Cox assisted Megan’s family in developing the Company. From 2001 to 2002, Matt helped develop products, materials and marketing until he was asked to turn his attention somewhere else. He watched Megan’s Pantry struggle, close, and the trade name shortly sold to someone else.
Instead of giving up, the Megan’s decided to launch the Company for a second time in July 1, 2003 with Matt Cox as partner.
The Company had some mixed results and Matt decided to purchase the Company from its owners and make the top consultants partner in the business. Matt became the majority owner on July 1, 2004. The Company has maintained steady growth since that time.
