How You Qualify for Commissions and Bonuses
While the plan has a number of moving parts, you will soon see that it is designed to support you and reward you at every level as you progress in your career.
- As a new Consultant, you will be paid on your own sales.
- You move up in title through building structure, not through sales alone. As you begin to recruit other Consultants and build a sales organization, you earn compensation on their sales in addition to your own.
- In addition, there are generous one-time bonuses as you achieve the Leadership ranks.

- As an Executive, you can earn a 5% Central Team Bonus, based on the wholesale value of your team's sales. An Executive's Central Team includes all Consultants, Senior Consultant teams, and Team Leader Teams in each leg down to but not including the next downline Executive.
- As you advance through the Senior Executive and Director ranks, you can earn 1%-6% on your Executive teams down through four generations. The percentage is determined by your effective rank in the Compensation Plan and is calculated on your Executive's Team Wholesale Volume.
Developing and Promoting Others
If you reach Executive status and one of the Consultants in your Central Team becomes an Executive, he/she is a first-generation promoted-out Executive. If he/she promotes an Executive from his/her Central Team, that new Executive becomes a second-generation Executive to you. You may earn Executive bonuses on the Team Wholesale Volume of both promoted-out Executives if you meet the requirements in the Compensation Plan. Once an Executive promotes out of your Central Team, however, that Executive's ( www.mlmlegal.com ) Team Wholesale Volume no longer counts as part of your monthly team volume qualification. If one of the Consultants in your Central Team promotes to Executive rank before you, he/she and his/her Central Team are no longer in your Central Team. However, if you reach Executive level, he/she is recaptured, and you earn Executive bonuses on her team wholesale volume.
Understanding the Definitions and Terminology
- Customers not affiliated with a Consultant buy at List Price (LP)
- Customers affiliated with a Consultant purchase product from HomePro By Design at the Suggested Retail Price (SRP), a 20% discount form List Price, and the Consultant receives a 25% commission of the SRP. These commissions will form part of their commission checks.
- In addition, for extraordinarily productive sellers, there are 2 levels of Personal Sales Bonus (PSB) - of 5% and 10% - based on Personal Wholesale Points (PWP) achieved in the calendar month.
- Plan qualificationis based on wholesale points (WP). 1 WP point = $1 US in most cases, although this may vary at times. Points will be rounded up or down
- Example: $7.50 = 8 WP, $7.49 = 7 WP
- All bonuses are calculated on product wholesale prices. Bonuses are paid based on bonus points (BP). In most instances the BP will be the same as the WP, however where margins are tight the BP may be less than the WP.
- A Consultant may purchase product from HomePro By Design at the wholesale price. Wholesale price is the SRP less 25% discount. These purchases are not commissionable, since the 25% discount has already been realized.
- Activity and title maintenance is required throughout the plan. It is a 'Paid As' plan. All Consultants will be 'Paid As' their title and structure qualify them for in the month.
- There are 8 titles in the Plan: 3 titles before leadership and 5 leader titles.
- There are 2 compressed Level Bonuses (LB) for Senior Consultants and Team Leaders
- There is a Central Team Bonus (CTB) for Executives and above
- There are 4 Generations of Executive Bonus (EB) for Senior Executives and above
- There is a Senior Director Bonus (SDB) paid on 1 generation of Senior Directors
- There are one-time Rank Advancement Bonuses (RAB) of $1,000 - $10,000 paid to Executives and above, the first time they achieve their title.
- Title and benefits are effective the 1st of the month following qualification, except for Senior Consultants and Team Leaders who will be Paid A's' their new title in the month of qualification
- There are holiday, military and maternity provisions, subject to certain qualifiers.
